Exam Instructions

The Certified Healthcare Quality Specialist (CHQS) certification is designed to provide healthcare professionals and quality practitioners with a comprehensive understanding of quality management principles, patient safety practices, and performance improvement systems used in modern healthcare organizations.

This certification focuses on the essential knowledge required to monitor healthcare quality, improve clinical processes, and support patient safety initiatives within healthcare institutions. Candidates will gain an understanding of healthcare quality frameworks, performance indicators, risk management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies used to enhance healthcare service delivery.

The program introduces key concepts such as healthcare quality standards, patient safety systems, clinical auditing, quality improvement models, and healthcare performance measurement. It also emphasizes the importance of regulatory compliance, healthcare governance, and ethical practices in maintaining high standards of patient care.

Professionals who obtain the Certified Healthcare Quality Specialist (CHQS) certification demonstrate their ability to support healthcare quality initiatives, analyze healthcare performance data, contribute to patient safety improvements, and assist healthcare organizations in maintaining effective quality management systems.


General Information

The examination consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.

The duration of the examination is 90 minutes.

The minimum passing score is 60%.

Each candidate is granted one free attempt only.

The certificate is issued in electronic format (PDF) only.

If a candidate does not pass the examination, the re-examination fee is USD 120.

The re-examination fee is subject to the same certification conditions applied to the first free attempt and does not include a printed certificate.

After completing the examination, your result will appear immediately on your personal dashboard, and the certificate will be sent to you within 24 hours free of charge.

If you wish to obtain the original printed certificate (hard copy), an additional USD 150 fee applies. This fee covers official printing and international shipping costs.

If you wish to legalize the certificate through the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (Apostille), this service is available upon request for an additional USD 400.


Academic Integrity and Proctoring

The examination platform uses advanced monitoring systems to detect cheating and suspicious answer patterns in real time.

Any violation of academic integrity standards may result in the immediate termination of the examination attempt and cancellation of results without refund.


Recognition of Prior Learning Statement
